"Mr. and Mrs. Sundberg, Yesterday morning our only thought was that we were graduating and heading to our futures. Getting our hair done and making sure our tuxes were in order were our only thoughts. Upon getting to Luther Memorial for Graduation we were all giddy about what lay ahead for us. That afternoon before our class photo we were all asked to meet in chapel. It was there that we were given the devastating news about Jack. The silence and tears brought Jack into all of our hearts that afternoon. During the sermon before Graduation The congregation was told of Jacks passing and a moment of silence was held for him. That day was a mix of emotions for all of us. But one we will never forget! Our wish is that our Graduating class could walk out into this world with just half of the bravery and courage that Jack and your family has had in these past months that there isn't anything we can't do. Please know that your family is in our hearts and prayers. We hope that one day you will consider coming back to Luther Memorial and teaching other students the strength and courage you have. We love you and miss you!"

"Dear Craig, Megan, and Robynn, Words cannot express how very sorry I am for your loss. I almost didn't write because all of the words seem so wrong right now. I cannot imagine how you must be feeling. I hope you are comforted by the fact that so many people literally all over the world have been and are now praying for Jack and your family. You have all been so courageous and strong, doing everything this world had to offer. Lean on your faith and the prayers of strength that go out to you at this time. Take comfort in the fact that others are shedding tears right along with you and you are not alone. Kara (she went to preschool with Robynn last year) and I have been following your journey all along. Again, words just don't seem enough to offer how very sad we are. Jack touched so many lives. He will never be forgotten. Lots of love and prayers..."

"I just wanted to pass along my deepest sympathy, love, and prayers to Megan, Craig, Lauree, Robynn, and Christian. You have always been an incredible family- full of fun, love, and life. Learning about Jack's battle.... he was full of all of that fun, love, and life- but he also had a lesson to teach- to live life to the fullest..."

"To Jack's family. I am so so sorry for your loss but am also happy that Jack is no longer in pain. I check the site every day and was concerned that there wasnt any updates for a couple of days, so I did not check on sunday. My heart sank when I saw the paper Monday morning. I have never met any of you but yet you feel like family to me.. I will continue to pray for your family, for god to give you the strength and courage as he did Jack to get through this. Again I am so sorry."

"Dear Sundberg family, I am deeply saddened to hear about little Jack. I can't even imagine what you are all going through. I can't think of anything else to say except that my thoughts are with you all and that you all have been an inspiration to so many."

"Words cannot express my sorrow for you all. Jack was a precious soul and I know this is truly a time of utmost sorrow for you. What beautiful words you posted on your bog, and how strong you are being...I am sure this is the way Jack wanted things to be and he is smiling that sweet perfect angel smile from heaven right now while in the arms of the Lord. Know that you are in my prayers and that Jack will not be forgotten."

"This morning in school a friend of mine told me that Jack passed away. The last time i saw him, was at jazzercise for jack. I got to meet and dance with him. I am glad i got to meet him, and even though i barley know him or your family, i am sad and i will miss Jack. Thank you for letting him be part of the world."

"I just wanted to say, as the father of a 5-year-old and a 2-and-a-half year old, that my heart is very much with you right now. I grew up in Erie and have been reading about Jack on the internet. God bless you all, and please know there is a family in Nova Scotia praying for you and Jack right now."

"Dear Craig, Megan, and your family, I am so sorry to hear of Jack's passing. My prayers will continue to be with your family during this painful time. It is so encouraging to see such a loving, strong-willed family stick together through something like this. cancer, unfortunately, touches so many of our families, but with prayer and faith in God, we get through this. It was a pleasure to meet such a loving little boy."
