"Can't even imagine how busy you are. What a wonderful family you are for Jack to spend his earthly life with. Please let us know if he made it to his recital. I've been reading your site for a long time but something about that recital . . . well, I'm sure you feel the same way. Hope we can see a picture or two as well. Big hugs and bigger prayers."

"After reading the latest update, I now understand why it's been so long between. You have been busy with Jack and that's what you need to be doing. I continue to keep you all in my prayers and pray that the meds work so he can finish out preschool this week and dance in his chair. Love and support from many people surrounding your family - I hope you all feel it Megan and Craig. All my love."

"Hi Megan, Craig, Robyn and Jack: Just wanted to let all of you know that all of the Gietls in Springfield,Il are praying for all of you! We are kept up to date through Uncle Louie, who is informed by Aunt Wilda. I heard that Jack loves to watch Dora The Explorer, I have a little skater that loves it too and her skating music is from Dora...So I have alot of knowledge on Dora lately. God Bless all of you."

"Hi, Jack! Thank you for taking me to Pittsburgh with you on Monday. I always knew you were a tough little man, but I was amazed at how brave, patient, and strong you were with all those doctors. You gave me a day that I will never forget because you let me into you life of the last 6 months and my admiration of you and your parents and your whole family increased in ways that I didn't think was even possible. Jack, you are so amazing! I'm sending you the pictures of us that your mom took with the Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie that smelled (and looked like it tasted) so good. Hugs."

"Hello I had a question, what does "It's not a poison killer drug like chemo - it works by forcing cancer to utilize a metabolic pathway that also triggers a normal life clock and allows them to die either during metabolic conversion or inside a normal lifespan for the kind of cell they came from." mean?? i highlighted die, did it mean Jack would die?? I hope not. Please write back I would like to know."

"Hello everyone. I just drove by your house on the way home to mine. (The Ericksons) I've been wanting to do something, but the something I want to do includes a photo of Jack. I tried to copy and paste the adorable photo on the website from his 3rd birthday, but when I do so, it chops too much of him off. I was wondering if you could e-mail me that photo, or another photo of him that is one of your favorites. If there's anything you need, please let us know."

"I want to say hello to you, Jack. That you are a VERY cute little boy....you actually remind me sooo much of my 3 year old grandson, Gabriel. I know how much joy you must bring to your parents', as I know how much joy my grandson brings to his parents, as well as me. I hope and pray that God will heal you of this sickness and that you can grow up to be a GREAT witness for Jesus!!!! You will be in my prayers EVERY DAY, as well as at my church, Erie First Assembly of God, and at our small group. You have MANY, MANY, MANY people praying for you and PLEASE KNOW that God IS ALL POWERFUL, that He created each one of us; therefore, since HE made us, He can heal us! Stay strong and ask God everyday for strength to get through your days! NEVER EVER forget that God is with you!!!! Again, I just want to say how PRECIOUS you are, ESPECIALLY in God's sight!!!
To Jack's parents and sister, PLEASE keep your strength and faith up! Continue to ask God EACH moment of EACH day for strength, for faith and just for God to wrap His loving arms around each of you! I will be praying EVERY day, asking God to heal little adorable Jack of his cancer and I TRULY believe that if this is God's will, He CAN AND WILL do this! Whatever happens EACH day, know that God IS with you, EVEN when it might feel like He isn't and that no matter how things turn out, as long as we keep our faith in God, He CAN AND WILL make sooooooo very much good come of this!!!! I have no other words of comfort, as I have NOT been in your situation. I have had a number of tragedies in my life, the latest one was losing my precious Godly husband, whom I had only been married to for 1 year and 8 months. His death was sooooo very sudden and unexpected that had I not been a christian, I would have ended my own life, as it was the most difficult thing I've EVER had to go through in my life! However, I still kept my faith in God, even though I did not understand why it happened, etc. and I can now say that no matter WHAT happens in this lifetime, I will ALWAYS put God first in my life and that He is the one who carried me through that most difficult time!
I do NOT tell you this to make you think "the worst," as I TRULY believe that God CAN heal your son!!! The reason I tell you about my experience is to let you know that NO MATTER HOW HARD life may seem, NEVER EVER give up your faith and in the end, you will see that your faith will grow soooo much stronger, PLUS you will receive GREAT rewards in heaven for your faith!!!! All four of you will be in my prayers EVERYDAY!!! And NEVER forget that ALL things work for the greater glory of God!!!
Blessings to you all........"

"Hi Jack, I just found your web site, so I thought I'd send you an e-mail. I sent you and Robynn a card this morning, so you should get it in a day or so. I got a card from your grandma and grandpa the other day. Did they tell you that I use to go to the same church as they did? St Matthews on 7th and Cascade. I think I grew up with you dad and if I remember right, he has a sister a year or so older. I haven't been to that church in 30 years. I go to a Baptist church now, Immanuel on W 28th and Plum. That's the church my dad went to as a boy. Your grandparents and I also went to Italy in 1976. I'm trying to find some of the pictures I took. If I do, I'll send you some. Got to go now, tell Robynn I said Hi."

"I just heard about you, Jack, and your wonderful family, from friends with a 3 year old named Joseph. You would love to play together. I know the road your mommy and daddy are walking down. God is certainly with you all, and my prayer is that you all would be filled with His strength and peace."
