"I was very sorry to read of Jack's battle with brain cancer in the newspaper recently. I wanted to pass this information along to you about the Burzynski Clinic located in Texas. Dr. Burzynski has a good rate of success treating children with brain cancer. Here are a few patient's stories. http://www.burzynskiclinic.com/ph/patient-stories.html. More here. http://www.burzynskiclinic.com/. I will remember Jack and his family in my prayers and that they may have the peace of God that passes all human understanding. Yours in Christ...."

"Craig, this is Joel Miller. I can't tell you how saddened we were to read about Jack's cancer. I didn't sit down till late that evening to read the paper and I was in tears. Tiffany had gone to bed already and when I mentioned it to her in the morning (and reminded her of the time we all met at Pufferbelly's) she said she couldn't even get through the article. It just strikes home with us so much more because we have a 2 1/2 year old ourselves. We are good friends with herm & Jan Stork, and last night Herm reminded me Megan used to work for Make A Wish. I'm glad your decision to do radiation & chemo gave Jack a reprieve. I can understand your agonizing with the decision, but it turned out to be the right thing. There is no understanding this sort of thing. All we can say is we are praying for a miracle. But one way or another, God always heals...either here or in Heaven. We'll be praying for you all! "

"Acts 3.6 Then Peter said, Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth walk’. Taking him by the right hand, he help him up, and instantly the man’s feet and ankles became strong. He jumped to his feet and began to walk. Then he went with them into the temple courts, walking and jumping praising God. Luke 17.5:6 The apostles said to the Lord increase our faith! He replied , if you have faith as small as a mustard seed , you would say to this mulberry tree, be uprooted and planted in the sea, and it will obey you. When I was 10 year old I cry for over a year. My father long were bad. The doctor told him he only had a couple of month to live. At the age of 10 I believe in the lord. he was heal. today I’m 37 years old me and my father serve the lord in the same church. I would like to come to the child if is o.k. with you and pray for him. GOD BLESS YOU."

"To Jack and his family, I read about your plight in the newspaper today and I am saddened by what you have to endure. In March of this year, my 3 month old daughter, Mady, was diagnosed with a rare deformity of the skull called crainiosynostosis. Though no medical symptoms have occured yet, you can look at her and know that something isn't right. Every day, while awaiting our surgery appointment in Pittsburgh, I dwell on how unlucky we are. I can't reason with what fate has dealt us and why we deserve this. After reading about Jack, I realize how selfish I am. I have a three year old, as well, and to think that Jack's crippling disease could happen to someone so innocent and undeserving, is unbelievable. Our friends and family (and even people we don't know) have been so generous. We expect to raise quite a bit of money for the expenses that the surgery will leave us with. Which leaves the questions as to what we would do with the money that is remaining after the surgery in August. Please know that what ever funds we have left over, whether it be $5.00 or $300.00, will be donated to Jack's fund at the bank. Your family is in my heart and I hope very much that a miracle reaches Jack so that he can again be the child he once was. Stay strong and optimistic."

"You don't know me, but I read your article in the newspaper and I felt like I needed to send this. My father had the same exact tumor so I know this must be very scary for all of you. Take each day as a gift, ask all the questions you can think of, and most of all, enjoy and cherish this time together. It is truly bittersweet. Have no regrets and may God be with all of you. You are not alone in this - there are angels everywhere. God Bless."

"Hi this is Brittany Straw from Girard Pennsylvania and I would just like to tell you how much my heart sank when I read about Jack in the newspaper. Nothing bad like this should ever happen to anyone, let alone a child at three years old. I am fourteen and I found out last year that I have a brain tumor called Astrocytoma Chiasmatic Glioma it is a low grade tumor and inoperable. I got chemotherapy and radiation for about a year and I go back down to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh on Monday the 5th to have a check-up MRI. So far everything has worked and the brain tumor shrunk down since my last MRI. It is very cool that Jack and I have the same doctor: Doctor Jakacki. She is very good at what she does and Jack should feel very comfortable in her hands. I hope all works out for Jack and I know the lord is on his side. Since my family and I already went through this (even though my time was easier because it wasn’t such a bad case) I know how it feels to think you are going to lose a loved one very close to you. When I was going through all of my chemo and everything I did have thoughts that the lord was going to take my life from me. Just make sure to tell Jack to stay positive and never give up on god or himself because I and everyone else knows he can do it and get through it. If you ever need to talk or anything call anytime! Or e-mail me back if you get the chance! I hope the experimental treatment works out great and everything goes back to the way it was! Once again I would love to hear from you either from phone or e-mail! Thanks for reading this! All of my concern and love."

"Just wanted you to know that I am still thinking of you and saying lots of prayers for you. In fact, this Thurday night at 6 p.m. many people from all the churches in our area will be meeting at a park in our little town of Irwin. Thursday is National Day or Prayer and we will all be meeting to pray. Jack, you are prayed for every Thursday night and every Sunday morning at a special prayer session; but on Thursday night hundreds more people will hear your name. I pray that this treatment you are getting works for you. I hope you enjoyed Niagra Falls. It's one of my favorite places. I especially love the picture of you in the shades. Love them. Take care Jack. Give mommy a hug from me. "
