"Dear Jack & family, We were just at the South Hills Christmas party and when the children were singing "How many candles" I thought of you last year singing and signing to the song so blissfully while sitting on your mommy's lap. We will keep you in our thoughts & prayers over the holidays."

"My name is Melanie Lingenfelter. My daughter Alexandra, has been very interested in Jack ever since I told her his story. She has made some pictures for him and your dad wanted a picture of her for the web site. It is a little late coming but here are two for him to use. We will continue to pray for Jack and your family until god grants us Jack's full recovery. I hope you realize how huge this has become. He has people praying for him all over the United States. We hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Give that little guy hugs and kisses for us. My daughter hopes she can meet him someday. We will wait for him to get a little better and allow your family some time to enjoy him. You are in our prayers. Your Friend in Christ."

"Dear Jack. We want to show you a photo of our daughter Juliet. Juliet is in college now and is very happy. But over the last four years she has undergone three surgeries for a tumor in her skull. It was very difficult but she is very brave, just like you, and now she is on her way to health. Juliet's mommy and daddy have had to be brave, too. We think that our love for Juliet and her love for us is important to her health. You are very lucky to have a mommy and daddy who love you so much, and we know you love them too. We are thinking about you. Love and big hugs."
