"I don't know you, and I don't know your son, but I feel obliged to reach out and send prayers and thoughts your way. I know Jack's aunt? I think, Barb, from a yahoo group. She has asked for prayers for your family. I have been praying nonstop, but I still feel compelled to write you a note, because I lost my Dad 19 years ago to a Glioblastoma.... in a way, I guess we're connected. I'm also a Mom, with a 14 year old son, who is the spitting image in looks and personality to the Grandpa he never knew.

I can't imagine losing a child, let alone to something as wickedly cruel as a glioblastoma. I am so truly sorry for what you are going through, and if I could do anything in the world to ease your pain and make this less difficult, believe me, I would. The surgeon at UC San Francisco who operated on my Dad, removed 25% of his tumor, and later told me that he was making it his life work to eradicate this killer. He expected to have a solution within 5 years... I guess it must be 5 years in research time (wry smile)... It does sound like there is significant progress, so I shall keep that on my prayer list as well.

I'm sorry, I'm rambling on and on. I will just ask that you please give your beautiful son a kiss on the forehead from a kindly stranger, and let him know that there is a kind, gentle tall man in Heaven who he should look for. I'm sure my Dad will be thrilled to have a little boy to spend time with.

God bless you."

"Hi Megan, this is Amy Karpinski and I used to baby-sit Monday mornings at Jazzercise. I just want to let you know that I have been thinking of your family ever since I heard that Jack was diagnosed with cancer. I cannot even imagine what you are going through, but please know that I am thinking of you all. Give Jack and Robyn hugs and tell them they are absolutely wonderful kids! Enjoy every minute you have with Jack, as I know you are. As parents, we get to experience the most incredible feelings of love and know Jack will always be returning that love."

~ Amy Karpinski - 04.07.2008
"Dear Jack, Matthew has been praying for you every night. He lit a candle for you at church last week. We hope that you will feel up to a walk one of these day. We like to walk and play outside in this warm weather too. Maybe we will see you! Give Puppy a pet for us. We know that he wanted to be with you to keep you company."

~ The Drabants - 04.07.2008
"I don't usually do this sit and write to parents of sick children, I usually just sit and cry and pray for them, but I felt I just had to in this instance. Your son Jack, is the most beautiful little boy I have ever seen, he does not deserve this illness and I can only hope that God will give you all the strength you need to get through the next few weeks. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Please God your little Jack does not suffer pain. Sorry if I am intruding at this time. Love and hugs and prayers."

"This little blessing called Jack is amazing. His pictures are heart warming. The sparkle in his eyes, the joy that radiates from his face. It is easy to see that he knows how much he is loved. He may be young, but I see that he lives a very big life. I am sure your road has been an up hill, winding and rocky path. I am sure that he has walked beside you wide eyed with wonder and securely gripping you with his little hand. The journey you are on is a very important one. He is like a little pioneer, a warrior against the disease inside. May God Bless you as you go boldly into battle and know that he has purpose. For without little warriors like Jack, there would be no cure. He is fighting a brave battle. He fights for you and me. He has and continues to touch many people. Even people like me who have never met him. I look forward to meeting him on the other side. Thank you for Jack. God knows what he is doing."

~ CL Kimm - 04.07.2008
"Dearest Jack,

I think that you must be the most loved little boy in the whole world. So many people love you – in fact there are people praying for you all around the world.

I am a friend of your Aunt Sallee and Uncle Gregg, and cousins’ Renee and Garrett. They have told me all about you and just how wonderful you are. Your Aunt Sallee has told me how kind and loving you are, too.

I have shared your story with my own family, and some of them live as far away as Turkey and China. They are all sad that you have been so sick and have had to go through such a tough time.

Jack, I want you to let all of this love surround you and hold you, just like a comforting soft blanket. I know that sometimes you hurt, so this blanket of love will be very gentle. You are a precious boy. Thank you for teaching so many of us about love and how to be very brave and strong.

I send my own love also to Craig, Megan and Robynn and to Grandma and Grandpa Sundberg and Megan’s family.

God bless you all. With love and much sadness."

"We are saying our prayers for all of you!"

"Craig and Megan Sundberg,

My name is Kristen Trott. My aunt, Connie Kerr Vogt from South Hills, gave me your website today after a visit. During dinner together a few weeks ago, my aunt shared your son's story with my family. My mother recalled seeing Jack during a previous visit to South Hills. She immediately remembered your son's smile as he said his goodbyes after a day of school. It wasn't a surprise when my aunt said that Jack's smile left an imprint in everyone's minds.

Even though I have never had the opportunity to meet your son, my thoughts and prayers go out to him and your family. As a sister myself, your daughter will receive special prayers as my baby brother is only 15 months younger than me (I read that Robynn and Jack are only 19 months apart). I can relate to the bond they share as siblings and the love they share as best friends.

As a recent graduate of Penn State University, I had the opportunity to be apart of the Penn State Dance Marathon, commonly known as THON. If you have never heard of this fundraiser, let me explain. THON is a 46 hour marathon that takes place one weekend in February at Penn State. Dancers are on their feet and awake during the whole 46 hours. It raises money for curing and treating pediatric cancer. It is the largest student fundraiser in the world. During the 2008 event, "Hope Finds A Way," Penn State students raised over 6.6 million dollars for the kids. All money raised goes into the Four Diamonds Fund at the Hershey Children's Medical Hospital.

I invite you to check the official THON website at THON.ORG and even think about becoming a Four Diamonds Family. I don't know the details about getting involved, but I know once involved, all of Jack's medical expenses will be paid for by the money raised through THON. You will also get paired up with an organization from Penn State. This organization will give you extra support such as sending carepackages and "thinking of you" cards. It will also open up a network of other Four Diamonds families. And of course, it will give you the opportunity to be involved in the THON event which includes fun and games throughout the whole weekend. Something the whole family will enjoy.

I urge you to please email me back, especially if you have any questions about THON or about the Four Diamonds Fund. Here is a short 2:32 minute video giving you an idea about the event. Please check it out. http://youtube.com/watch?v=Np6elB0U3SU

"SO VERY SORRY TO HEAR YOUR LASTEST NEWS. ALL I CAN SAY IS" DON'T EVER GIVE UP" YOUR IN MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS."

~ KATHIE - 04.01.2008
"Jack, Robynn, Megan & Craig, Someone said to me last week that it is a shame that everyone’s prayers have not helped. I corrected them and explained that they have. Obviously your experience has touched many people, offering some hope, others joy and all of us grace! Life is nothing more than a matter of moments weaved together to create life here on earth. No matter how large the weaving, the moments will last forever. You are all part of a larger tapestry and have woven threads through so many people’s lives. I will continue to keep all of you and those whose lives you have touched in my prayers and thank God for allowing your experience to make a difference in my life."

~ Gretchen Tome - 04.01.2008
"Please know that I am praying for Jack and your family. I pray that God will carry all of you in this difficult time and provide a small amount of comfort. So many Cursillistas are praying and care. I am just so sorry that God’s answer wasn’t healing and will continue to pray for a miracle. God bless you."

~ Kathy Thornton - 04.01.2008
"Hi, I just came across your website because I was looking for information on glio tumors because my best friend has one. I am so sorry about Jack. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know I am a stranger and I've never reached out like this before but your story touched me. God bless you."

~ Colleen Paris - 03.31.2008
"Hi Robynn and Jack! I love seeing you guys in Wkids and I can't wait until you come to visit again :) Thank you for brightening my day each time I see you. You are in my thoughts and prayers."

~ Danielle Niedzielski (Wkids staff) - 03.31.2008
"Craig and Megan, I've attempted to write a number of times now but nothing seems adequate. I had a friend who went through something similar (her 12-year-old son had non-hodgkins lymphona) a few years ago and my heart broke a million times in the months that ensued. I think that's why I feel so much for what your family is going through. The one thing I learned is how much God's hope was and is evident through the worst of circumstances. I pray that you'll cling to that hope now. Craig, please tell your mom and dad how much I think of them and how much it hurts me to know they are going through this. When I think of your family, I just remember a lot of smiling. To think the contrary is just too sad. Peace to you, yours and especially little Jack."

~ Linda King - 03.31.2008
"Jack, I know you don't know me. But I know your mom and dad, and I have been following everything about you. You are in my thoughts, as well as the rest of my family's. I wish you the best little man. I have two little boys who love to play. We want to get the chance to play sometime. Please let us know."

~ Kyle, Tammy, Kellan and Keaton Fiddler - 03.31.2008
"Dear Craig and Megan, I have been away from Heatron for over two years; however, when Rita shared Jack's story with me on Saturday, I immediately recalled several conversations I had with Craig, both in person and over the phone. Unfortunately, I don't believe I ever asked about your family. I apologize for that. The website you have created is fantastic. You have a very special family. Both Robynn and Jack are beautiful children, and their lives are obviously filled with much love, support, gentle caring, and great energy. This is a difficult time for all of you. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, knowing that God has you all in his ever-loving arms."

~ Nancy Nuss - 03.30.2008
"My name is Todd and my granny and papa live right across the street from you. I know that you have been sick and want you to know that my family and our church in Albion has been praying for you and your family. You are probably scared and confused about what has been happening, but God has a plan for all of us and He will take care of you, no matter what! I am proud of how brave you are."

~ Todd - 03.29.2008

Mom and Dad and big Sister, we're there with you, now and always."

"Dear Jack and Family,

What a pleasure it is to meet you. I have been following your site for awhile now but will admit that Iam pretty shy. My name is Jenni Renee and like Jack I am a cancer fighter. I was diagnosed with Mesenchymal Chondrosarcoma in October of 06. This is a pretty rare cancer in my bones and cartilege. I wanted to you know that I am definately pulling for you and hope that maybe one day can meet. I am constantly praying for you.

One of the reasons why I am e-mailing is because I am currently signed up to speak at a St. Baldricks event in Edinboro PA to not only speak but I will be shaving my head to support Childhood cancer awareness. We were wondering if maybe you and your famly might like to come and take part in the event. If you would like to share your story or just come from food and fun, We would love to have you. If you would like to check it out you can either go to just plain stbaldricks.org or go to the actually event site which is http://www.stbaldricks.org/events/event_info.html?EventKey=2008|4 and look us up.

Again I hope to hear from you soon and I am praying for your family constantly. I keep looking for currently fund raisers I might be able to help with so if there are any please let me know!

Keep Smiling and Laughing."

"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Sundberg, Hello, this is Ashley. I'm not sure if you remember me or not. I am the nurse who cared for Jack during his stay at Hamot. I just stumbled upon the beautiful website you have dedicated to him. It is amazing the love and devotion you have to this precious little boy. I have to tell you, I often think about Jack and I pray for him constantly. I am always wondering how he is doing. Your child touched me and affected a very special place in my heart and I will never forget him. I was hopeing that if you have some spare time once and awhile that you could keep in touch with me and let me know how he is doing. I wish you all the very best and your strong, amazing boy will never be forgotten. I hope to take part in some of the benefits that are coming in the near future. I would love to see Jack and get to know that little guy you are so proud of. My thoughts and prayers are with you always."

"HI Jack! My name is Carly and I am one of your neighbors from down the street! I've met your mommy a few times at the Holmberg's when Jonali came home. I'm glad to hear that you had a super time in Orlando with Robynn and your parents. Did you get to meet all your favorite Disney characters? My favorite is Pluto just like Jett, Jaxon and Jonovan so I hope you gave him a big hug! Hopefully I get to see you outside playing soon when it gets a little warmer. I'm praying for you and your entire family! Your one big, strong, brave boy and I look up to you!!!"

~ Carly Brigaman - 01.28.2008
"hello Jack....

we just received an email tipping us off to your website, so we had to check it out and learn a little something about you. Boy, are we glad we did! Sounds like you have a most loving family, plenty of friends and you are a cutie to boot... kinda like our 3 year old grandson, who's named Jack too. you would love teaching him all about dancing, cause he mostly loves lawn mowers and garbage trucks... I think every boy should know how to dance, so keep it up.

my husband is about 14 months into his treatment for a GBM too... diagnosed Christmas Eve 2006. it's been a journey full of new experiences, challenges, and more blessings than ever in our 41 year marriage. we have come to know about 35 other wonderful GBM patients through emails, letters and during treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas. amazing how many folks are diagnosed each year... we never knew much about it until it came into our lives. but, we feel that this has been a God-led adventure, so we continue on trusting our faith and prayers to carry us through. we'll be adding your name to our ever-growing prayer list tonight... and will check in often to see how you are and what new steps you're learning.

hugs from afar.... some new friends...."

"Dear Mr. & Mrs. Sundberg, Jack and family,

First of all – God Bless you all for the battle you are waging. I am a former employee of WQLN in Erie and was diagnosed with a frontal lobe GBM in July, 2007 and am currently receiving treatment at the Cleveland Clinic. 90% of the tumor was removed and I've undergone radiation, chemo and am on an experimental trial drug – EMD – designed to eliminate the blood flow to the tumor. At this point, the cancer is stable.

As I lay there the night of my surgery, I asked God, what could be worse than this? – and I realized it would be much worse if it were on of my children. As I know you would, I would take any pain and heartache from any one of them. I know you wish you could do the same of Jack.

I know Jack is receiving the best of prayer, medical attention and love from family and friends. I pray for a miracle for him everyday. I have let the fatigue get to me lately, and a dear friend suggested that I reach out to you. Please let me know if you have any questions that I might be able to answer. I know our situations are completely different, but I do know how the treatments make you feel and would be glad to give you any information I can.

One of the things I do to keep myself spiritually fed is to repeat the following. I will repeat them for Jack as well.

The Joy of the Lord is my strength – my strength comes from the Lord.

No evil shall befall me, nor shall any plague come near my dwelling – for you have given your Angels charge over me and in my path lays life, health and healing.

God Bless you all and that precious Angel!"

"Jack! I am so happy you got to go to Disney World with your family. Your friends, Jaxon, Jett, and Jonovan are so jealous! They want to know if you and Robynn got to meet Pluto, the dog. He is their favorite. :) I cannot wait to see the pictures of your trip, but even more I cannot wait to see you! I miss you so much. Hopefully when we come see you we can swim in your pool, and take walks at Asbury Woods, and play in your sandbox again. Maybe you can teach my boys some of your favorite dance moves. I'll sneak you in some raisins and goldfish crackers and we can have a picnic. Keep playing, living, and loving, little man. "

"Hey Jack and the rest of the Sundberg Family, I am so glad you had such a wonderful time on your wish and that you enjoyed Give Kids The World. I had a chance to visit there a couple of years ago while visiting some friends in Florida and fell in love with it. I have never met you Jack but feel as though I know you. I worked with you mommy a lot when she worked for us at Make-A-Wish. I work in the Pittsburgh Office. I think about you so often and say a lot of prayers for you and your family. I have put your name on our prayer chain at our Church so you are mentioned a lot. Take care and lots of hugs coming your way from the entire Make-A-Wish family. Give mommy a big hug from me too. "Hello Jack, I am so happy that you and your family got to experience the MAGIC of Disney World, it is a wonderful place. It really sounds like you all had a wonderful time. I can't wait to see the pictures and how much fun you had meeting all the Disney characters and seeing the different shows. Did you get to go in the Haunted House, that is one of my favorites! Glad to see your back and that you had a great time."

~ Mary DiMarco - 01.22.2008
"Hi Sundberg Family: I volunteer with Make A Wish and heard about Jack from an email from Jenny for a fundraiser at Juniors. We weren't able to make it, but I am signing up for the Jazzercise for Jack at St. George!! Jack, you seem like quite a warrior, and a lot of people, even people who don't know you like me, are praying for you. My cousin's daughter had a DIPG and she was able to live for 9 months after her diagnosis and she and her family made the most of every moment they got. They started a foundation to research childhood brain cancer: www.thecurestartsnow.org. I am going to email them about you and know that will allow more people to read your story and include you in their prayers. God bless you all."

~ The Mennow Family - 01.20.2008

"Hello Jack and Family,

I found out about you through my son Kevin's tutor, Carrie Shady. My family and I have been praying for you and keeping positive thoughts about you spreading around. Your story warmed my heart immediately. Something familiar about you reminded me of my sister Jane Mascharka who had cancer. You will hear/see why in a moment. She died when she was 15 years old on April 14, 1977. She was SO BRAVE! Two months before she died she wrote a short story for English class. She was only in Eighth Grade at the time. I am pretty sure she knew she was dying. Here it is:

The Day I Became A Balloon

One day I was sitting in a park on a bench wishing I could be a free balloon. I could see many sites, blow in the wind and watch children laugh at me and grab my string. Then a jolly, chubby man carrying a handful of balloons came towards me. I felt a flush of happiness within me. I wanted to run up to the man and buy all the balloons. But for some reason I bought one balloon and it was blue, a beautiful baby blue. Holding it tight in my hand I began to run all around the park. I felt happy and free, laughing and smiling. Then it popped! The noise wouldn't stop ringing in my ears it kept echoing and echoing. I sat down under neath a tree and started to cry. Suddenly I began to shrink. I got smaller and smaller and rounder and rounder. I became a balloon my dream came true I became a balloon. I floated up and up all around streets through the city and in an out of buildings.

I never had a more wonderful day of my life. I was free, happy and a balloon. I floated on and on up to the sky and beyond the blue yonder. I was happy, big, bright, beautiful, blue balloon feeling wonderful and free.

Jane Mascharka

I hope you enjoyed her story. My family has found inspiration in it for years now. We always let dozens of Blue Balloons go at special events....particularly funerals. My dad's boat is even called the Blue Balloon. So Jack, keep on letting those balloons go....I think your angels are catching them for you. May God Bless you and your family ~ with love."

"Hi Jack - We met you in the airport as you had just arrived in Orlando for your Make-A-Wish trip. How are you enjoying the village? We loved it there and wanted to stay. Ammon loved riding on the Amberville Train, Simeon loved swimming and dino putt-putt golf, and Corrine liked all the food at the Gingerbread house. Your website is wonderful. You are such a loved boy! Your sisters birthday party looked like lots of fun. You did a great job singing Happy Birthday to her. We look forward to hearing how your trip was. I know you will have been treated like royalty!"

~ Johann, Kari, Simeon, Corrine and Ammon Smith - 01.15.2008

"Dear Sundberg Family, This is Ms. Haley from the purple room at South Hills. My thoughts and prayers are with you as Jack continues to fight his battle. Jack is such a great little boy. I love to see his smiles in the halls of South Hills, he makes me smile. He is such a spirited young child and I admire him for that. I think about your family everyday, and I continue to pray for all of you! Much love!"

~ Ms. Haley - 01.09.2008
"Jack, How are you? I know you do not know me, but I received an e-mail from Heidi (my next door neighbour) and my heart goes out to you. I can't say I know what you are going through, but looking at your pictures (on the web site) shows me how much of a fighter you are. You are very cute and handsome. I will continuously pray for you and your family and I know God will guide everyone through. Whenever, I am going through a "rough patch" I always reflect on these two Bible verses. "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths". Proverbs 3 vs. 5 - 6. I have found comfort in that and I hope you and your family will too. Remember, He does not give you more than you can handle and He will pull you through. Good Luck and remember you have a friend in East Stroudsburg, PA that is always praying for you and is always smiling with you. Thanks and make today a great & blessed day."

~ Ingrid Foster - 01.08.2008
"This message is for everyone who has posted messages for Jack, prayed for him and for the Sundbergs, attended the fund raisers, given what they have to give, and everything else that has been done: Thank you. I know it never feels like it is enough. After the Luther Memorial benefit, we were overwhelmed, exhausted, and... almost sad. It never feels like we can do enough. Until Jack is completely better, have we done enough? I know it will never feel that way. However, please know that we can't cure him- medicines, doctors, and God- those are who we look to now. We can only use what tools we have, and our tools, as friends, family, coworkers, acquaintances, community members, and those who have heard from a friend of a friend about the Sundbergs, are our thoughts, prayers, and support, not only for Jack, but for his family.

Megan & Craig- please know we support you fully, we're right behind you every step of the way, we're unfaltering in our prayers, we're here when you need us, and at any moment, we are with you always. Please know that if you need anything, you have quite the network of friends, family, and community to rely upon. You have been such amazing friends and family to everyone around you- we cannot help but support you in your time of need. I know I speak on behalf of "everyone" when I say, we refuse to accept any other option but Jack is getting better, and we're all here to see to it. Though our tools are meek, we are many, and together, we are strong.

We love you."

~ Chris & Mariah - 01.08.2008

"Hello Jack. My name is George and my family and I are members of Luther Memorial. You are an extremely brave and strong boy to endure your disease. No one should have to go through what you have gone through, no less at three years of age.

I too have a malignant brain tumor and have survived for nearly four years now and can sympathize with everything you have gone through.

Each year I participate in the "Ride for Roswell Park" benefiting Roswell Park Cancer Institute. This year I will ride with your name on my jersey, so we can ride the 75 mile course together.

God bless you and your family."

"Hi Jack, this is Becky and Spencer, some high school classmates of your sister and your mommy. We've been reading about your progress way out here in California, and we're praying for you so much, especially during this Advent and Christmas season. You remind me of the youngest Incredible, Jack-Jack, whose superpowers were a mystery until confronted with a big challenge, and suddenly Jack-Jack's courage and spunk showed his true strength. You've surely got some superhuman strength to be fighting this! I saw your video of watching Dora and you're such a strong little boy to be bouncing back so quickly. Dora and Diego are our daughter's favorite shows, too, and it really does make the day brighter to help them on their adventures. I hope the Lord blesses you with that same "Incredible" strength and courage for this road, Jack. You are a true hero in our eyes."

~ Becky and Spencer LaDow - 12.07.2007

"Hi Jackie! I want you to know that I think about you, and how strong you are every day. You have touched so many people in your life already. Just being in the same room as you has always brought a smile to my face. Your independent nature, the smile that brightens the room, and those adorable cheeks…Just knowing you has brought more joy to my life. You have never seemed selfish, always willing to share your toys and take turns. I'm sure you had your moments as all kids do, but within minutes of being around you anyone could tell what a sweet boy you are. Life is so unfair. But God has a plan for you, as he does for all of us. We may not understand it now, but there is a purpose and reason. You are so loved by so many people. You are blessed to have such wonderful parents who take good care of you. And what a great big sister you have to look up to! You keep hangin in there, and know that you are loved."

"I don't know how to express or even imagine what you as parents are feeling at this time. I don't know you, but my heart is touched by your little boy, Jack. Please know that my husband, my family, and I will continue to pray for a miraculous touch within his whole being, in the name of Jesus Christ. I have witnessed the miracles of God in my life and in my children's lives. When it seemed like there was no hope when my child was near death, God came through and healed and touched her. I am a firm believer of what God can do in the most difficult times of our lives and that God can also touch Jack. This is our prayer. We pray that God will give you strength and peace and that Jack will continue to be in God's care and that He will touch his precious little body with His healing power, in Jesus Name. Amen."

"Jack: I was just forwarded an e-mail that has this amazing website all about you! How cool to have your own website! I looked through the site and a number of things were very clear:
  • You are so cute...just like the Gerber commercials...you deserve a spot on national TV!
  • You have a lot of people who love you very much!
  • You are a gift from God...you obviously have blessed so many lives...and will continue to do so!
  • You are strong and have a lot of courage...just like Dora the Explorer! Like Dora and Diego, you know that all things are possible when you have lots of friends and family to support you!
  • God doesn't give you anything you can't handle. Keep looking up Jack. He is your strength. We don't have all the answers, but He does. And know that no matter the outcome, it was His purpose for you to be born and bless so many people in so many ways you can't even fathom. And it's not just your life on earth...it's the amazing spirit and legacy that you will leave behind...no matter what God's timing!
May God bless you and your family. You are in our thoughts and prayers."

I cannot even begin to undertand what your family must be going through right now. I know that you have probably received many emails from people saying that they are praying for Jack...and I am also one of those people. However, I wanted to email you to let you know that I am a firm believer in miracles. I have been told by the doctor's that there were things in my life physically that were 100% impossible...but God has the final say. I am not trying to give you a false sense of hope...I am simply saying that miracles DO still happen...and please do not give up on Jack...or the Power of God. God's word says that "by His stripes we WERE healed"...so i just wanted to encourage you to speak "life" and "healing" over your child. I have many scriptures that I hold very near to my heart that I would be happy to share with you. When I was going through my struggle, I had these verses taped up all over my house and read them and proclaimed them over my life daily. Do no underestimate the power of God. I am not one of these "fanatical Christians"...I am a mother that loves her child and is so saddened by this story. I cannot tell you how deeply this story has affected me. I would like to send a prayer in this email, and if you are ok with it, I would love for you to pray this over your child for me.
Dear Lord,
I come to you in the name of Jesus on behalf of this precious little boy. I know that it is not your will for anyone to suffer and I also know that you are a God that still does miracles. Lord, You are a very present help in the time of trouble. In the Name of Jesus, I bind this cancerous tumor and every cell that is not functioning properly and I command it to leave Jack's body. I speak healing and wholeness, strength and rest on his body in the Name of Jesus. Lord you are a loving God and it is not your will for this little boy to suffer. So in agreement with his family I am believing and claiming life over his body. From the top of his head to the soles of his feet I speak healing. In the Name of Jesus I command every cell to be in perfect working order. I know Lord that you are the giver of life and I thank you that this little boy's body is being healed and restored at this very moment. Remove this tumor immediately and take the suffering away from this precious child. Thank you Lord that the doctor's do not have the last say in this situation...YOU do. Thank you Lord that you are placing a hedge of protection around him...that you are sending your angels to watch over him, to guard him and to fight on his behalf. Thank you for the testimony that this little boy is going to have from the miraculous healing that you are performing in his life. Lord I pray for his parents that you would give them a peace in this time of trouble. Lord comfort them and protect them. Encourage them and let them know that YOU are in control of their lives. Lord give them strength to make the decisions they need to make and help them to not become discouraged. Lord, bless them abundantly and show Yourself to them. Thank you Lord for what you are going to do in this family.
In Jesus' Name,
Amen.
I will continue to keep your family and especially Jack in my prayers. Don't give up on him. God is greater than this. And He is faithful."

"Hey there, Jackie! I wish I could explain to you how much you are loved, but there are no words to describe the magnitude of loving and praying going on for you. You must be the most beloved boy ever! I am so excited to see you getting better every day! You are so strong, and we are all so very, very proud of you. I can't wait until we can swordfight again, and see you dancing, and running around. Someday, you'll look back and be amazed at how much progress you made so fast, how much everyone cares, and how loved you are. You are a very, very special little boy, and we are all very, very blessed to know you. Keep fighting! We're all fighting for you, too. Love you."

"Hi, Jack. I have been thinking about you all day today. Actually, I think about you and your mommy and your family a lot everyday, but especially today. I know how tough you are and you have been so strong and brave. You should know how proud of you we all are and I know you can feel how much we love you. Everyone tells you to fight, and you are. You are fighting so hard, and I bet that can be very tiring. You should know that it is okay to be too tired to fight sometimes, because when you take a break from fighting that is your body's time to heal. When you are too sleepy or too frustrated it is okay to just take a rest from the fight. When you take a nap or curl up with your family to watch El Dorado your body is healing! Isn't that cool! So stay stong, Jack. I pray for you everyday, little man."

"I have a daughter that just turned 4 and we read your web page, daily. I have included you all on my prayer list and am asking those around to do the same. Of course I love my children but your story has inspired me to stop and the smell the roses...every second, every day, when I am with them. My daughter loves the web page pictures and spent an hour looking at the pictures and playing the video of Jack singing Happy Birthday..(her birthday was the 26th of November). She has asked me a lot of questions and we talk a lot about it. She has added Jack to her bedtime prayers and wonders how it is possible that a little boy could be so sick. Jacks strength is inspiring, and the words of those around you on the blog are a testament to your family. Good luck with your fight and know that you are inspiring worlds of people in wondrous ways."

"Hi Jack. My name is Haleyna and I am in your ballet class. My mommy is writing this for me. I just want to say I think about you all of the time and you are in my prayers. If your mom and dad need anything...my mom and dad would love to help."

~ Haleyna Hoffman - 11.28.2007
"I met you for the first time this summer! Your little hands turning the key to open up the Jazzercise door, your mom looking on proud and allowing you to do what you knew you could! I knew this memory would keep flashing over and over in my mind. I think of that beautiful face and it makes me smile and a little sad. Jack, remind me of a story in the bible it's about salt and light. If a seasoning has no flavor, it has no value. You are affecting those around you in a positive way, you are just like a seasoning bringing out the best flavor in food. You are a beacon of truth and your light can be seen for miles Jack. I am so touched by the faith here in our Jazzercise community. We are all praying for you each day, and at our home we end our evening prayer with your name each night. I'm so glad I was touched by your light Jack! Your mom is a beautiful person and I am very touched by your website, thanks for sharing your intimate lives with us. "

"To Jack's parents...

My prayers go out to you...I received an email from my sister-in-law in Erie, Maureen Bishop, about Jack and a link to your website. I live in Bay Village, OH near Cleveland, one suburb east of Avon Lake where 2 little girls were victims this year of a type of brain tumor called diffuse pontine glioma. The one girl was a student at the school I work at, and I know her family. Her parents formed a foundation to raise money for research efforts and also to help families find information through their website on the most up-to-date advancements in treatment of childhood brain gliomas. Their foundation website is www.prayersfrommaria.org. Here is their "mission statement" quoted from their website...

The Prayers from Maria Foundation was established to fight a specific form of childhood cancer - brain tumors commonly referred to as "gliomas". Incidents of gliomas are becoming more and more frequent, and claim the lives of hundreds of children per year in the United States. Our mission is to find a cure for this tragic family of diseases, while also providing information and assistance to families with children who suffer from gliomas.'

I am sure if you contact them, they may be able to help you. I know they were at Cleveland Clinic in the beginning, but eventually took Maria to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and had nothing but praise for that place. They said it was so different than the other hospitals ...everything was geared to children and they were so impressed with the staff and how they dealt with Maria and the rest of the family to try to help them through. If cost is an issue, St. Jude's doesn't turn anyone away. Also, there are very excellent doctors and researchers on the board of the Prayers for Maria foundation, so I am sure they are "up" on the latest treatments. Please check out their website and if you would like to talk to Maria's parents, I could put you in touch. I was again in tears reading your story, but so many people are trying to find the treatment...I know Maria did much better than expected initially and able to have a "normal" existence for a time with the tumor shrinking very, very small, but unfortunately not disappearing. As it shrunk, she seemed to bounce back and could enjoy a vacation and time playing with friends. I guess it makes you appreciate each day to a fuller extent. I just think someone is going to come up with the treatment that cures it...I wouldn't give up...keep praying and leaving no stone unturned!"

"Hi all, I am very sad to read your case at your website. My brother Miguel is 33. He was diagnosed Astrocytoma 2 ½ years ago. 1 year ago he was diagnosed Glioblastoma, very aggressive Glioblastoma. After months of tough fighting he is currently, apparently in an excellent health status. The tumour stopped thanks to a treatment based on Irinotecan and Avastin. He works and lives 99% normally. I really wish you all the best and send you many hugs and kisses across the Atlantic Ocean, especially to Jack."

"Jack, I can not get you out of my head. I pray every day that God not only heals you Jack, but also brings your family closer together and closer to God. Take all that energy that we all know you have and put it into your fight. Miracles do happen! You have to believe. You have so many people praying for you! Megan and Craig, this has really put life into perspective for me. It has shown me to take more time out for the people that I care about and not to take for granted anything! I am so sorry for the heart ache you are all living with. Big hugs from the Ghamo's!"

"Hello Sundbergs,

Happy Thanksgiving. Brian Grimm here, I'm so sorry to hear of Jack's diagnosis, I myself was diagnosed with GBM in January of this year. I have been tremendously blessed in that my tumor is shrinking and I'm feeling better than I've felt in many years. Initially I simply followed whatever my doctors said (my doctors are the nation's "experts" at UCSF), but my tumor continued to grow. It wasn't until I did my own research and followed my own plan that I began to improve.

Among other things I've been seeing a world-class nutritionist (Dr. Jeanne Wallace) specializing in brain cancer, and following a treatment protocol from conventional medicine in India (the Banerji protocol). I've been told by my doctors here that the long-term survival rate for GBM is 1%, what I wasn't told is that this is not consistant from country to country. For example, in India, specifically Calcutta, the long-term survival rate is approaching 50%.

Here's a few links to more information on the banerji protocol, please research this for yourself, it's been a life saver for me. I spend about $20/mo on the treatment, which gives me about 50% odds, versus the chemo & radiation I spent around $130k on, and gave me 1% odds. The treatment has been reviewed and approved of by M.D. Anderson cancer center in Houston, TX, and has been reviewed and published in the international journal of oncology.

A google search for "Dr. Banerji" "Banerji Protocolj", and "Ruta 6" will also turn up many more links and information.

I would be happy to chat or try to answer any questions you might have to the best of my ability. I also blog about health, health care, food, and my experiences on my website, Freshtopia.net. There are reasons to have hope, the mind is a powerful tool. I wish your family all the best, and will keep Jack in my prayers. Much love and understanding."
